Lineham Farm Wedding Photography | Emma & Jacob
Lineham Farm Wedding Photography. This was my first wedding at Lineham Farm and it was such a lovely day! Everyone was just so relaxed and happy all day long, even Emma who was suffering with a cold and no voice (hence the whisky she “sipped” whilst her dress was being done up!).
Emma got ready in the cottage at the farm with her bridesmaids and mum, so I joined them there for a couple of hours before the ceremony. Anna Stephenson was in charge of hair and make up, and preparations were well underway when I arrived! Since everything was happening in the one place I was able to pop back and forth between the cottage and the barn, so I could get lots of lovely shots of Emma and co getting ready, and also lots of detail shots in the barn and some of Jacob and the boys once they arrived.
Once Emma was dressed I made my way to the barn ahead of her and we all waited excitedly for her to maker her entrance! After a very happy ceremony (with a few somewhat squeaky vows from Emma!) everyone piled outside into the sunshine for drinks and canapes. We got the “formal” photos out of the way and the Emma, Jacob and I made our way into the woods at the back of the barn for the photos of the two of them. I’d scoped this spot out a bit that morning and already had a few spots in mind.It was the perfect backdrop and I could have kept going but I restrained myself (sort of!) and eventually let Emma & Jacob go back to their friends and family.
A few more drinks and some garden games and it was time for the speeches back inside. These were super laid-back with everyone gathered around the spiral staircase and the speakers standing at the top of the stairs. Then it was BBQ time! Food is my queue to leave people alone (and eat something myself!) so I moseyed back indoors to back up my photos and wait for the evening.
Emma and her friends and family had set up a huge cake table (which smelt AMAZING haha!) and once the (slightly damaged but well-disguised!) cake had been cut Emma and Jacob took to the dancefloor to throw some shapes.
Big thanks to these guys for having me along, and to the lovely Jenny Maden for passing them my details! x
