Manor House Lindley Wedding Photography | Ashleigh & Richard

Manor House Lindley Wedding Photography. Ashleigh & Richard were married at The Manor House at Lindley in the newly renovated coach house. I joined Ashleigh and her bridesmaids couple of hours before the ceremony in the main hotel where they were getting ready. This was a super relaxed and informal day (Ashleigh & Richard had actually tied the knot in Vegas already!) so the guys and girls hung out together other than avoiding each other as they normally do on the morning of a wedding!

We had loads of time so as well as all the detail shots of Ashleigh’s Enzoani gown and beautiful bouquets by The Flower Shop Lindley, I also managed to capture a few shots of Richard finishing getting ready plus lots of lovely pics of everyone chatting and laughing (and speech-writing!). I then headed inside to catch Ashleigh getting into her gown.

I’d had time to get some photos of everything set up for the ceremony earlier in the day so once Ashleigh was dressed we had time for some portraits outside the main building before I joined Richard and the guests in the Coach House.

Ashleigh’s granddad walked her down the aisle and he looked so proud! Richard’s mum said some lovely words about the happy couple, and then it was time for drinks in the main bar whilst the staff changed things up for the wedding breakfast.

We whipped through some “formal” group photos in the shade outside the hotel and then I took Ashleigh and Richard off for a few photos together whilst everyone else went back to their drinks!

Once I was finished with them (I’m never really finished, I’ve just learned to control myself hahaha!) I let Ashleigh and Richard rejoin their guests as I went to check on progress in the Coach House.

It had been turned around in no time and was set up for afternoon tea rather than a formal wedding breakfast. Everything looked (and smelled!) delicious and once again I was gutted to be lactose-intolerant! 😀 I really loved the centrepieces which each featured a delicious Gin and a selection of garnishes and tonic. The Flower Shop had also created simple white floral arrangements for each table, and make sure to check out the amazingly detailed cake by Suzanne Thorpe at The Frostery!

Then it was time for everyone else to head in for afternoon tea, followed by the speeches. The ceremony had been fairly late in the day so there was just a little gap before the party started, and then it was time for me to head home.

Thank you so much to Ashleigh and Richard for trusting me to capture the UK leg of your wedding! And if you’re planning a wedding at The Manor House Lindley please do get in touch!

    Oh, hey!I'm Laura.

I live near Ilkley with my slightly* nutty 9 year old Rose, and I have had the honour of photographing weddings and families for 11 years now. I genuinely cannot believe how lucky I am that I get to call this my job.

*she once told me that traffic lights are the bane of her life, and she went through a phase of naming everything "Cantameen". Send help!

I love photographing people. Whether it's your wedding day, you're expecting or have just had a baby, or you simply want to capture your loved ones the way they are right now, my aim is to document unique moments in time to create a beautiful set of images that you will treasure for many years to come. My style combines photojournalism with beautiful portraits, and my fun and relaxed approach makes you feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera – I want you to actually enjoy having your photograph taken!

Although I’m based near Ilkley I cover all of Yorkshire and I’m actually happy to travel anywhere for weddings and portrait shoots. So if you have any questions then please get in touch using one of my contact forms. In the meantime, grab a cuppa and browse through my wedding or portrait galleries, or take a look at my most recent work on the blog.

I can't wait to hear from you x
