Whitley Hall Wedding Photography | Helen & James
Whitley Hall Wedding Photography. Ah what beautiful weather we had for Helen & James wedding day! Glorious spring sunshine all day long, not too hot and not too chilly. After spending couple of hours with Helen and her entourage of bridesmaids before the ceremony ( I love when a big group of bridesmaids gets ready together – it makes for a really exciting atmosphere and endless photo opportunities, if they don’t hide from me!), I joined James and the guys at the church for a few informal group photos. I then let them wander back to the nearby pub (always a winner) for a quick drinks whilst the guests started arriving. Helen arrived in style and the look of joy on her face as she walked down the church path with her dad was a wonderful thing! Sadly I wasn’t able to photograph the ceremony itself (always check with your vicar if you’re having a church service, as some of them can be pretty strict!) but I did manage to et a quick shot of Helen and her dad entering the church, and Helen and James walking back up the aisle as husband and wife – just check out their expressions, I love my job!
After a quick hello to all their friends and family, we pulled off a very successful confetti exit and headed off to Whitley Hall. I let Helen and James have a bit of a breather to catch up properly with their guests, and nipped inside to see everything set up for the wedding breakfast. Make sure to check out all the amazing blooms by Campbell’s Flowers, seriously beautiful work and some of my favourite bouquets of 2016! After a quick round of family line ups I took Helen and James away from the crowds for a short while to capture some photos of the two of them in the beautiful gardens at Whitley Hall and then it was time to eat!
After some hilarious speeches everyone headed back outside into the glorious evening sunshine for drinks, and I of course got over excited by the yummy light and managed to sneak the happy couple off for a few more photos – well worth it! x
