My family photography shoots usually take place outdoors where your little ones can run around, and we are spoilt for choice here in Yorkshire! However we can absolutely do the shoot at your home if you prefer. The sessions are very relaxed and mostly documentary in style - I'll provide a little guidance but I'm mostly there to capture you all as you are together.
As with my other portrait shoots I don't have strict rules about what to wear, although I do recommend avoiding big logos or cartoon characters. If you do want more advice on outfits choices I've written a blog post with lots of helpful tips on what to wear! It's mostly important that you're comfortable and feel like yourselves.

Baby shoots can be done at your home, or if it's warm enough we can meet outdoors somewhere. If we're at your home I'll usually try and get some of them in a favourite outfit and some with no clothes on. If you're not comfortable with this we can do some in just a plain white vest so we can still see those gorgeous folds and little toes!
I like to get a mixture of shots of baby by themselves and also some with you, even if it's just your arms giving them a cuddle!
If you're baby is aged up to 4 weeks then head over to my newborn info page to find out more about my shoots for this age group!
If this sounds like what you're looking for then make sure to take a look at my Portrait Photography Galleries for loads of gorgeous photos from my recent shoots with babies and kiddos of all ages!
Packages start at £150, and you can visit my Portraits Pricing section to find out more. Here you'll also find prices for booking multiple sessions to document your little one's first year which is something I love to do!
If you're expecting or have recently had a little one then head back to my main portraits info page where you'll find links to my maternity and newborn shoot information as well.
And of course if you would like to find out more or to book in a shoot please fill in the enquiry form!

Kate & George’s day looked incredible in colour, but there’s something about these monochrome moments that I love...

Mini pie and pint canapés, a first beer pull instead of a cake cut, and an unexpected arm wrestle during drinks reception.
A very strong argument for couples doing their wedding exactly how they want to!

Saturday at The Manor House Lindley with Katie & Alex 💜
The forecast had other ideas for the day, but for the second time in a week we somehow managed to dodge the rain and even saw some blue skies instead!
So many lovely moments stand out from this gorgeous wedding. Katie was helped into her gown by both her mum and Alex`s mum before sharing an emotional reveal with her bridesmaids. A special mention has to go to maid of honour Lily, who has known Katie literally her whole life after their parents met at ante natal classes!
One of the most emotional moments came when Lily`s dad walked Katie down the aisle. There genuinely wasn`t a dry eye in the room. Alex definitely wasn`t holding it together either ❤️
Katie`s favourite colour is purple, so we absolutely lucked out with the azaleas blooming at the bottom of the drive. They made the perfect backdrop for some portraits before we headed over to the Coach House for the iconic bar photo.
The speeches struck that perfect balance too – hilarious one minute, emotional the next.
A huge thank you to Matt Sim, who joined me as second photographer and spent the morning with Alex and the lads in the bar before the ceremony kicked off.
What a day. What a couple. Katie & Alex ✨
