Yorkshire Family Photographer. My aim for any family photography, baby photography or maternity photography shoot is for you to spend a happy and chilled-out hour or so laughing and having fun, with me there to capture you guys as you are. I'll provide some direction on where to stand/sit, and I have a few tricks for getting the most of of your little ones, but what I really want is to photograph you guys interacting and just being together. Newborn shoots are a little more guided, but I still like to keep things really relaxed; lots of cuddles with mum and dad, plus I always try to get some of your little one on their own.
What Should We Wear?
I don't have strict rules on what to wear, but I do recommend avoiding logos or recognisable cartoon characters - they tend to steal focus! Lighter colours can brighten up the photographs, and for family shoots it's great if you can all wear an item in a similar colour, as it can really help bring you all together. For newborns and older babies at home I love light/neutral baby-grows and vests. But these are all just suggestions; the most important thing is that you're comfortable, and that you feel like yourselves! For more tips please visit visit my What to Wear Guide on my blog.
When Will We Receive Our Photos?
Your online gallery will be ready within 3-4 weeks of the shoot date, with all edited images in colour and black + white. Image numbers can vary depending on family sizes (and often the behaviour of the little ones!), but I typically provide 40+ images. You'll also receive your images on a beautiful USB with personal printing rights, which I'll post to you.

CLAIRE & BEN // A brilliant day at Camp Katur for these two at the end of last month 🤍
We thought it was going to rain pretty much all day, so Claire & Ben brought their ceremony forward to 11am to try and beat it. Thankfully, it barely drizzled in the end and they got to have their outdoor ceremony in the woods, which was definitely worth the early start!
Claire got ready with her friends doing her hair and make up, and the whole day had such a relaxed, fun feel to it. And then the evening got a little bit wild 🤘 Burlesque and fire dancers appeared as a surprise for the guests, and in between were two amazing sets by their band Kerrashed!, who were one of the best bands I`ve seen at a wedding. The dance floor was absolutely heaving all night and I got to relive all of my teenage angst 😆

One of my favourite parts of a wedding day is spotting all the little moments that happen in between the big ones.
The proud smiles from across the room. A quick squeeze of the hand. Someone wiping away a tear when they think nobody`s looking. Those tiny moments often end up meaning just as much as the confetti, the first kiss or the first dance.

CHELSIE & FRANK // A lovely sunny day in Ilkley for these two, with their wedding taking place at All Saints Church before heading over to the Kings Hall & Winter Gardens for the reception.
Chelsie got ready at home with her parents and their two little ones, with Charlotte from Beauty in Bloom in Ilkley doing her hair and make up. It was really lovely having the kids around throughout the morning and seeing them involved in the day too.
After the ceremony we had a nice long drinks reception in the Winter Gardens, which is such a great space for wandering around and catching all the little moments as everyone catches up, has a few drinks and generally enjoys themselves. There was also an amazing cake from Bella’s Bakes, which definitely needed a few photos of its own!
A really lovely family-focused day, and I always like weddings where everything is close to home. It means the day feels a bit more personal and you get to bring together all the people and places that are already part of your life.
