Hotel Du Vin York Weddings. The Hotel Du Vin York sits in a lovely 19th century listed mansion house on The Mount. It has a cute little orchard at the back which I love to use for portraits of the bride and groom, and the courtyard in the centre of the building is the perfect place for a wedding ceremony – loads of natural light from the glass ceiling. Which can be opened up in warmer weather. Plus it’s a short drive (or taxi ride!) into the city centre meaning you can nip in for photos in the Museum Gardens, The Shambles or around the Minster without missing too much time with your loved ones.
