Orangery at Settrington Weddings. The Orangery at Settrington is a gorgeous building set in the grounds of Settrington House. The gardens are incredible – very easy to get carried away with photos! I especially love the Tempietto and Rose Colonnade. Or you might like to wander to the lake which is another amazing backdrop for photos. I love a wedding venue that has plenty of photo locations which allow some privacy away from your guests but also don’t take you away from them for too long. It looks gorgeous at all times of year as well; from wild garlic and bluebells in the spring to bright gold and rust leaves in the autumn.

Ceremonies can be held in the Orangery or outside in the Tempietto, and there’s also the beautiful All Saints Church on site if you prefer a religious ceremony. You can get ready in the Garden Cottage; the bridal suite is perfectly decorated and the house has it’s own private gardens where you can enjoy drinks and food with your family and bridal party the night before (if the weather allows!). It’s a very short walk from there either to the church or the Orangery itself, so you don’t have to worry about travelling between sites on your wedding day.

On a warm day you and your guests can enjoy drinks and canapés around the fountain on the lawn, where there’s plenty of room for group photos as well. Later you’ll all make your way inside the Orangery for the wedding breakfast and speeches, and eventually THE PARTY!
