LAURA & JAY // Back at my happy place on Monday for Laura & Jay`s wedding at The Tithe Barn! I don`t think I`ll ever get tired of photographing there. 🤍

Laura poured so much of herself into the day, creating all of the flowers and stationery by hand, as well as doing her own make-up. She decided she`d rather keep the morning to herself, so I met Jay at the venue as guests started arriving. He looked very smart in a custom suit from Edit Suits and had one final surprise up his sleeve... a VW camper to bring Laura to the barn. 🚐

The weather couldn`t have been kinder, everyone was in great spirits, and the evening finished with The House Devils filling the dance floor with Irish folk music. Such a brilliant way to end a really fun day.

Tithe Barn Bolton Abbey | Tithe Barn Wedding Photos | Barn Wedding Yorkshire

ALICE + WILL // Carlton Towers is one of those venues that makes you wonder if you`ve accidentally wandered onto the set of Harry Potter or Downton Abbey (right up my street!). Every room is grander than the last, and everywhere you turn there`s another incredible backdrop.

Alice & Will got the weather dream combo on Saturday... warm enough that nobody was shivering, but with lovely overcast skies that photographers quietly celebrate while everyone else wonders why we`re smiling at a grey sky! :-D

Before the ceremony my second photographer, Lissa, was with Will and the lads capturing all the pre-ceremony nerves, laughs and last-minute tie adjustments whilst I was upstairs with Alice and the girls. Their flower girl also deserves a special mention because she was an absolute superstar. Equal parts adorable and completely stealing the show whenever she appeared! 🌸

After the ceremony we took over the huge front steps for confetti and drinks, made the most of that ridiculously impressive staircase, then later snuck off to the vineyard after the wedding breakfast for ten minutes of peace before the dance floor chaos began.

A proper joy to photograph from start to finish. Massive congratulations to Alice & Will – thanks for trusting us to tag along and point cameras at you all day! ❤️
