A small family ceremony at The Timble Inn, a few hours later joined by all their friends at Weetons, and quite a lot happening in between.

From confetti being dumped over Owen by his dad to photos at Swinsty Reservoir, bubbles instead of confetti round two, mini golf and the now infamous wedding lettuce. And that was all before the evening party properly got going.

Owen changing into his shiny stag do jumpsuit after the first dance was a particular highlight. The tequila shots weren`t a bad way to finish things off either.

A day that was very much their own ❤️

From getting ready with friends to an outdoor ceremony in the woods, surprise performers in the evening and a dancefloor that barely had room to move, there was plenty going on.

Kerrashed absolutely smashed it, too. One of those bands where you could happily stay on the dancefloor all night. Which is exactly what everyone seemed to do!

ELLIE & BRENDAN 🍂 A perfect autumnal wedding at Healey Barn 🧡

Northumberland is one of my favourite places, especially at this time of year. The countryside surrounding Healey Barn was looking beautiful, with the trees turning all sorts of autumnal shades. It’s definitely one of those venues that doesn’t need much doing to it to look good. I`d expect nothing less from a Cripps venue!

Ellie & Brendan managed to get the dream October weather too. Dry and sunny, with a bit of a breeze but still warm enough to spend plenty of the day outside. The confetti under the trees in the courtyard was particularly lovely, with all the autumn leaves making a very good backdrop.

The flowers were all in gorgeous autumnal shades and there were pumpkins dotted around the venue, which suited the time of year perfectly. Their four adorable page boys and flower girls did a fantastic job, and I really enjoyed that Elle & Brendan organised a sing-a-long the end of the ceremony! The afternoon light was pretty perfect too, so we headed off for some photos of the two of them while the sun was still out. Once it got dark, out came the sparklers and the fire pits before the party started. Pretty much the perfect way to finish an autumn wedding!

The Tithe Barn looking lovely for Jess and Joe`s wedding, with all the flowers in soft pinks, creams and greens. Add in the black tie dress code and it all came together beautifully. And thankfully, despite the slightly cooler weather, we managed to get through the day without the rain making an appearance. Always a bonus in August!

Lara & Jack 🤍

A little look back at Lara and Jack’s wedding at the Tithe Barn. From their ceremony led by a friend to making the most of a break in the rain for photos down at the abbey, there was plenty going on throughout the day.

Seven speeches later (still not over that 😂), Lara changed into her evening outfit and it was time to get the party started.
