ALICE & CAM // Before the heatwave arrived, Saturday gave us absolute perfection. ☀️

The day started at a beautiful rose-covered house tucked away near Otley. Getting there involved some very narrow lanes and a hill that definitely kept me on my toes... but it was worth it! Alice looked incredible in her gown from Bee Bridal, with the most gorgeous bouquets by Bureau Botany featuring blue hydrangeas that matched the bridesmaids` dresses perfectly. I also loved Cam`s custom dark green suit by Michelsberg Tailoring 👌

One of my favourite parts of the day was the ceremony. Instead of a traditional civil ceremony, it was led by Cam`s sister, making everything feel so much more personal. There were stories, laughter, three brilliant readings, and one especially lovely reading written by Alice`s sister and read by her nieces and nephew. Safe to say there wasn`t a dry eye!

After a mountain of confetti, everyone relaxed in the sunshine with drinks and canapés while we found a few shady spots for some portraits. They were welcomed into dinner with huge cheers thanks to the best MCs (Alice`s cousins, basically brothers), before Alice gave a speech that had everyone reaching for tissues. The speeches that followed somehow managed to make everyone laugh just as much as they cried.

As the evening light softened, we wandered through the fields for some golden hour photos before heading back for cake, the first dance and a packed dance floor thanks to Southwest Band 🤟

What a day. ❤️ Huge congratulations again, Alice & Cam.

KATIE & MATTHEW // Last Thursday was one of those wedding days that just flowed from start to finish 🤍

Katie spent the morning getting ready at the Skipton Hotel with her mum & bridesmaids, laughing the whole way through. Shoutout to Ashley from BTS Bridesmaids too – always lovely to work with!

Meanwhile my second shooter Lissa was with Matt & co as they got ready at his parents` house before the all-important pre-ceremony pint 🍻. By the time everyone arrived at the church, Matt`s nerves had definitely kicked in, but they were quickly dispelled when Katie made her way down the aisle.

After a confetti tunnel, family photos and plenty of hugs, we nipped over to Bolton Abbey with the newlyweds for a few portraits in the ruins. Then it was back up to Tithe Barn for round two of confetti! The drinks reception was in full swing by then, with guests making the most of the sunshine, catching up over canapés and giving Katie & Matthew the warmest welcome back.

After the wedding breakfast, we were treated to some brilliant speeches before sneaking K&M back outside for some quick pics around the barn. Then it was time to cut the cake, fill the dance floor and finish the night surrounded by sparklers ✨

Katie & Matthew, thank you for trusting us to capture it all. What an absolute joy of a day ❤️

A little milestone for me too... this was my 400th wedding. 🤯

Blows my mind. I`m still just as excited to pick up my cameras every wedding morning as I was for number one, and I don`t take any of it for granted. Thank you to every couple who`s been part of the journey. Here`s to the next 400. 🥂
