MEGAN & GEORGE // Back at The Tithe Barn… again! I genuinely don’t think I’ll ever get tired of this place. 🤍

Saturday was Megan & George’s turn, and it was such a lovely day from start to finish. Megan got ready at The Tithe Barn holiday cottage near Skipton with her parents and bridesmaids. Meanwhile, my second shooter Lissa was over at The Devonshire Arms with George, his dad and the groomsmen before everyone made their way to the barn.

These two met through rowing, so some of their teammates brought their oars along to create an arch for them to walk through during confetti, which was such a fun, personal touch. Megan also arrived at the venue in her dream car, a Land Rover Defender, and later on we were joined by their dogs, Betty & Ivy, who absolutely stole the show for a few photos.

After a day full of sunshine, laughter and far too many tempting desserts (their cake tower came with a whole dessert table of sweet treats!), we finished with the most gorgeous late summer light. We snuck out into the fields at the front of the barn for a relaxed wander before heading back inside for the first dance, and it was the perfect way to end the day.

The forecast looked questionable all week, but somehow we got the loveliest soft light all through the drinks reception, enough time to properly wander around Thicket Priory for photos, and only got the rain once everyone was safely inside for dinner. Couldn’t really have timed it better ✨

Back at one of my favourite venues for Laura & Jay`s wedding. 🤍

IMY & ASH // One week 🩷

Last weekend`s wedding at Thirsk Lodge Barns was one of those days where everything just seemed to fall into place. ☁️✨
I started the morning with Imy and the girls getting ready in the farmhouse, while my second photographer, Lissa, joined Ash and the guys just up the road. Ash and his groomsmen looked very smart in their pale blue suits - perfect for such a summery wedding.

The ceremony barn looked incredible, with Allie from Wild Floral Couture filling it with beautiful flowers in soft pastel shades. It was so lovely to be working alongside her and some of my other favourite suppliers again too, with Lottie Haigh on hair, Jess & Laura from Faces on make-up.

The weather couldn`t have been much better - warm enough to enjoy being outside, a lovely breeze to keep everyone comfortable, cloud cover for most of the day, and then the sun making a perfectly timed appearance in the evening. Imy & Ash`s gorgeous baby girl stole plenty of hearts throughout the day too, and everyone was treated to some seriously delicious food from Nomad Catering before the celebrations carried on into the evening.
Such a relaxed, happy day from start to finish. Congratulations again, Imy & Ash! ❤️
