ZOE & DAVE // These guys tied the knot on Saturday at Unique Occasions in Loversall, surrounded by their favourite people (and their two gorgeous little girls 🥹).

It was another scorching afternoon, which meant they got to have their ceremony outside - hoorah! There wasn`t a dry eye when Zoe`s grandad walked her down the aisle, and it was so lovely to hear him speak later in the day too – a really sweet moment that everyone will remember.

After the ceremony, we all jumped on a tractor and headed up to the vineyard for portraits and some group pics with the bridal party. The heat was relentless, but the views were worth every sweaty second 😆

The speeches were an absolute highlight. Dave`s brother was one of the best men and he wrote an entire song about Dave to end his speech. And even got the whole room singing along. Not something I see every week!

The food from Shoot The Bull was incredible, the drinks were flowing, and then the dance floor happened...

I`ve photographed a lot of weddings, but I`m not sure I`ve ever witnessed quite so many X-rated dance moves before 8pm 😳😂

What a day. Full of laughter, family, sunshine, happy tears, happy singing, and questionable dance decisions. Congratulations, Zoe & Dave! ❤️

KATE & GEORGE // When I left the house for Kate & George`s wedding at Woodlands Hotel Leeds, the weather was doing its best impression of the end of the world 🌩️⚡️ Heavy rain, thunder, lightning... the lot. By midday? Blue skies, sunshine and the heatwave was back as if none of that had ever happened! Thankfully, the ceremony and wedding breakfast were held in the air-conditioned Orangery 😅.

Kate looked incredible in her gown from Confetti & Lace, complete with the most beautiful train, while George and his groomsmen absolutely nailed the black tie look. Their black and white styling was elegant and effortlessly cool, right down to Kate`s stunning bouquet of white roses by House of Bloom Florist.

The whole day had such a brilliant energy. So much laughter, so many happy faces, and guests were treated to live illustrations of themselves to take home as keepsakes — such a lovely touch. It was also great to catch up with @jessicaleymakeup and Beth from @bowandblush and to work alongside the wonderful Tiah creating content throughout the day.

Kate and George will probably tell you they`re awkward in front of the camera. I can confirm this is completely untrue. They were absolute naturals! The clouds rolled in during the evening so we didn`t get a golden hour, but we still headed back out into the gardens after dinner and for a few more gorgeous portraits.

A day that started with thunderstorms and ended with smiles, dancing and some very happy newlyweds ❤️ Congratulations, Mr & Mrs R!

Woodlands Hotel Wedding | Leeds Wedding Photographer | Black tie wedding Yorkshire

Abie & Dan 🤍 // Together since A-levels, surrounded by lifelong friends, sunshine, questionable childhood photos and a brass band surprise that had everyone singing before the drinks were even finished… what a day we had on Saturday!

From Dan and his three best men in black tie (friends since primary school 🥹), to one of my favourite dresses I’ve ever photographed, to the incredible flowers by Bethan at Bureau Botany waiting at the top of the aisle like wild meadows — everything came together perfectly.

No cake cut. No first dance. Instead, a massive group dance where everyone piled in. Speeches that had everyone crying with laughter (the best men came armed with photos of Dan through the years… brutal 😂), long trestle tables packed with everyone they love, with Abie + Dan sat right in the middle of it all.

A surprise appearance from the legendary Back Chat Brass absolutely made the drinks reception — everyone was dancing & singing in weather that felt almost suspiciously perfect for Yorkshire. We wandered through the fields after dinner for a few quiet moments overlooking the River Wharfe, joined briefly by some very curious lambs.

Such an amazing day from beginning to end; lovely to meet some new suppliers and to catch up with @amy.george.makeup and @andystelmachweddingfilmmaker again too.
