CHELSIE & FRANK // A lovely sunny day in Ilkley for these two, with their wedding taking place at All Saints Church before heading over to the Kings Hall & Winter Gardens for the reception.

Chelsie got ready at home with her parents and their two little ones, with Charlotte from Beauty in Bloom in Ilkley doing her hair and make up. It was really lovely having the kids around throughout the morning and seeing them involved in the day too.

After the ceremony we had a nice long drinks reception in the Winter Gardens, which is such a great space for wandering around and catching all the little moments as everyone catches up, has a few drinks and generally enjoys themselves. There was also an amazing cake from Bella’s Bakes, which definitely needed a few photos of its own!

A really lovely family-focused day, and I always like weddings where everything is close to home. It means the day feels a bit more personal and you get to bring together all the people and places that are already part of your life.

LIBERTY & ALEX // 🤍🖤

My first wedding at The Saddle Room and I absolutely loved it! The weather was not on our side, so with the rain coming down the ceremony had to move inside. Thankfully it eventually stopped, meaning we could get everyone back outside for confetti and photos — and a proper chance to explore the grounds, which are SO lovely.

Liberty & Alex went for a black and white theme, with the guys in black tie, the bridesmaids in black gowns, and all-white flowers. And then there were the ring bearers… their gorgeous little boy and their dog (an Australian Shepherd - beautiful!). Little Henry did a great job, but the dog absolutely legged it down the aisle with the ring 😂

Also worth mentioning Uncle Nigel, who seemed to be everywhere all day, running around doing jobs and generally keeping things moving. He also started secretly pinning clothes pegs to people`s clothes. I found one attached to my camera strap when I got home, although I`m still not sure whether Nige or the videographers were responsible for that one...

A brilliant day, a lovely couple, a very fast dog and plenty of little moments in between. Thanks so much for having me along, Liberty & Alex 🤍

Jess & Joe at the Tithe Barn //

Back at the Tithe Barn Bolton Abbey at the start of August for this brilliant day with Jess and Joe. Jess and the girls got ready at the Devonshire Arms, while Joe and his groomsmen got ready together at the Coniston Hotel. The boys have all been friends since school and are really close, so there was plenty of laughing, messing around and generally having a good time while they got ready. And Guinness! In true black tie style, they all scrubbed up pretty well too. My second shooter Lissa was with the guys capturing all of that while I joined Jess and the girls, before everyone headed over to the barn for the ceremony.

Jess and Joe were so lovely together throughout the day — completely relaxed, clearly having the best time and making the most of being surrounded by all their favourite people. The weather was a little cooler than it had been for the rest of summer, but thankfully the rain stayed away, so we could make the most of being outside too. The flowers by Walter & Blossom were absolutely beautiful, with soft shades of cream, pale pink and lots of greenery throughout the barn.

And then there was the Beautiful North Band, who were seriously good and had the dance floor packed by the end of the night.

Lara & Jack // What a brilliant day I had with these two at the Tithe Barn a couple of weeks ago! Their wedding ceremony was led by one of their close friends which made it so much more personal, before everyone headed outside for drinks and a bit of a breather. The rain had other ideas for most of the day, but we managed to catch a break and made the most of it, heading down to the abbey for some photos.

Back at the barn, it was time for the wedding breakfast and what can only be described as an impressive number of speeches. Seven in total! 😂 There was plenty of laughter, a few emotional moments and, thankfully, nobody seemed to run out of things to say.

Then Lara disappeared to change into a second outfit before she and Jack took to the dance floor for their first dance and the evening properly got underway.

A lovely day from start to finish, with plenty of laughs, a little bit of rain and lots of moments worth remembering. Thanks for having me L&J! x
