SOPHIE & JAMES // One of my favourite venues, one seriously stylish couple, and gardens absolutely showing off. 🌹✨

Sophie & James tied the knot at Goldsborough Hall on Saturday, and what a day it was. The plan was to say "I do" outside, but after keeping one eye firmly on the forecast all week, they made the call to hold the ceremony in the beautiful Drawing Room instead. As it turned out... it didn`t rain a drop all day. Typical! Thankfully, Goldsborough Hall is one of those venues where there are only good options! The Drawing Room made for the most gorgeous ceremony, decked out with florals by Serendipity Floral Design.

The wedding breakfast was in the Richard Hutton Room rather than the Orangery, which suited the size of their day perfectly. With their shared love of history, the character and charm of the room couldn`t have been a better fit.

Sophie`s dress was a beaut! An incredible off-the-shoulder Justin Alexander gown with a front split. The black tie dress code looked fab, with James standing out in a cream dinner jacket that couldn`t have suited him more.

The roses and foxgloves were in full bloom, the sunshine arrived right on cue, and Sophie & James were complete naturals in front of the camera. Safe to say they fully embraced their own little Wuthering Heights moment in the gardens... thankfully with a much happier ending. 🌿

It was also so lovely catching up with some familiar faces—Ellie Ryder on hair and makeup, Sally from Serendipity Floral Design, and Andy Larmouth keeping everyone entertained (and very confused!) with his magic.
