Baby & Family Photography Yorkshire | Best of 2021

 

Baby & Family Photography Yorkshire. A little later than intended but here are my favourite images from my 2021 baby & family shoots! I wasn’t able to fit in as many shoots as normal due to lockdown at the start of the year, and then the volume of weddings that went ahead in the second half of the year (still pinching myself, did this actually happen?!). But as always I had trouble narrowing it down; Yorkshire sure does make some cute babies and kiddos! It was lovely to meet some new faces and to catch up with some families that I’ve photographed before. I especially love when wedding clients come back to me years later for photos with their new family – I have a few of those booked in this year too and can’t wait!

Below you’ll find my favourites in a handy slideshow, or keep scrolling to view the images properly! With having so many weekends taken up with weddings I’m often not able to fit in shoots with older children as they’re busy working away at school in the week, but I managed a few half term and summer evening shoots this year as well as lots of squishy babies of all ages and some gorgeous maternity shoots too which I love doing. This year is set to be as busy as last year for weddings, though thankfully they’re a lot more spaced out! So if you’re thinking of booking in a shoot, whether maternity, newborn, older baby or family, then don’t wait to get in touch as dates are already very limited!

    I live near Ilkley with my slightly* nutty 9 year old Rose, and I have had the honour of photographing weddings and families for 11 years now. I genuinely cannot believe how lucky I am that I get to call this my job.

    *she once told me that traffic lights are the bane of her life, and she went through a phase of naming everything "Cantameen". Send help!

    I love photographing people. Whether it's your wedding day, you're expecting or have just had a baby, or you simply want to capture your loved ones the way they are right now, my aim is to document unique moments in time to create a beautiful set of images that you will treasure for many years to come. My style combines photojournalism with beautiful portraits, and my fun and relaxed approach makes you feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera – I want you to actually enjoy having your photograph taken!

    Although I’m based near Ilkley I cover all of Yorkshire and I’m actually happy to travel anywhere for weddings and portrait shoots.
