Yorkshire Wedding Photos | Best of 2021
Yorkshire Wedding Photos | Best of 2021. It’s that time of year again! I always love creating my end of year round up but this year made me especially happy after such a hard couple of years. I still can’t quite believe that 2021 worked out the way that it did. I shot 48 glorious weddings, and whilst fitting 18 months of work into around 6 months was pretty exhausting at times, it felt amazing to finally be back doing what I love and to see so many of my lovely couples finally have their wedding day after so many months of uncertainty.
2021 brought me so many different weddings; from an intimate ceremony for two where I was witness as well as photographer, through to massive parties of nearly 200 mad revellers where I feared for the safety of my camera. In barns, halls, registry offices, hotels, farms and stately homes. Civil ceremonies, religious ceremonies, outdoor blessings. Bouquet tosses, sparklers, dance routines, dress changes, new babies, fur babies, singing waiters, tiny grandmas, veil wafting, fairy lights, fireworks and unmeasurable amounts of confetti. So many of my favourite things were back again and reminded me how lucky I am that I get to call this my job. I was reunited with some of my favourite venues and suppliers, and met a whole host of new ones too.
To all of the incredible couples who put their trust in me this year I cannot thank you enough. WE DID IT!

Roll on 2022, I can’t bloomin’ wait!
